In Fantasyrama players are in charge of their mystical, fantasy garden in a land of magic; acting as the caretakers of this grove they are able to plant, grow and harvest a wide variety of plants and breed and tend to a number of different animals. Players must manage their time, buildable space and resources as they have friendly competition with other players in the community to see who is able to grow the best garden. A colourful and child friendly game it is not only great for kids but for people of all ages with its family friendly themes and content. Players can access the game through their preferred web browser, without the need to download or install a client to play; furthermore the game is absolutely free to play with a premium currency option to help players in the game should they wish it.

The two primary elements of the game are to sow and grow various plants and breed different animals, to do this players must construct the appropriate building or plant allotment on their available land; each player’s garden being divided up into a number of squares and every building takes up a portion of that area. With time, patience and resources players will eventually have a thriving garden that they must regularly tend to in order to reap the rewards from it that in turn they are able to sell on the market or use in their garden. To purchase the various buildings needed to plant and breed, players must use up Star Coins, the primary free in game currency that is earned through completing different tasks as given by the games characters.

Both plants and animals will require various resources to help them flourish; once a flower bed has been placed and the seeds that the player wishes to plant have been chosen and sowed, similarly when an animal pen has been built and the new animals have been chosen to inhabit it, players will need to get water from the Eternal Spring. Both plants and animals will also require food and it is here that a natural symbiotic relationship occurs where the food harvested from the plants can be used to feed the animals and when the animals pens are cleaned out the “mess” they leave behind can be used as fertiliser to feed plants. To get players started they are also able to purchase feed from the market or use the Divine Alter that will give them booster items to speed up the time required for plants to grow and animals to breed.

There are a number of other features within the game for players to explore such as working with the community, buying and selling items on the market, trying to grow unique plants, even growing your own pets such as Creamagi Dragons and more. As well as the functional side to growing a garden players are also able to decorate it with a wide variety of items to add a little extra glamour to their grove.
